Box Mix Sunday!

happy SUNDAY!!

i broke my goal of writing everyday this month...(oh well)

blogging on a daily basis isnt as easy as it looks.

to make things a little easier, i decided that i'll have topics for certain days of the week.

this should make it a little easier for me to blog.

so for SUNDAYS: it'll be titled "box mix sunday".  basically, i'll take a box mix and either make it according to the directions, OR i'll change it up and make it my own.

so here it goes! my first box mix sunday.

i bought this box mix from trader joes a couple weeks back.

i decided that today was the day they were going to opened.

instead of bownies, i decided to bake some cookies.

--ingredients--

-16 oz brownie mix

-1 egg

-4 oz of unsalted butter (1 stick)

-1tspn vanilla extract

i melted the butter and mixed all ingredients together.

used my tbsn scooper and scooped the cookies onto parchment paper.

bake in the oven for 12 mins.

place on cooling rack to cool and enjoy.

for a festive look, decided to sprinkle the cookies with some sprinkles.

(if you decide to do this, its best to sprinkle them right out of the oven. gently tap the sprinkles so they stay in place)

its starting to smell like christmas!!
