Noah's First Birthday

I planned for this event many months ago and I was super excited when it was finally time.

This was my very first BIG ORDER and I'm happy to say that *it was a success*!!

With the help of 2 friends (and even my father and mother) everything came out beautifully.

location of event was at Blue Water Grill. 

a beautiful place that matched perfectly with the nautical theme.

hello world!!

its been a while since the last time i've blogged....
sadly, my laptop crashed and that caused a bit of problem.
lots of baking will happen this week.

Macaroons

after many failed attempts...

i've finally perfected getting the "foot" on macaroons. ^^

super duper happy!!

but in all honesty, i do like macaroons even without the foot.

they're cute but a little hard to stack and package (because theyre more round)

anyways heres some pictures of them.

almond shell with a green tint filled with chocolate cream cheese center.

prior to a friend leaving, my friends and i decided to gather for some chitchat and goodbyes.

we decided to stay local and picked a foreign destination.

sugar rush cafe.

when i was taking classes at mtsac, i passed by this location many times but never thought of going.

i wish i found this secret spot sooner.

equipped with free wi-fi, its an awesome place for college students.

anyways..enough chit chat...more about food.

 

chicken spinach melt with a side of fries.  perfect combo and a party in your mouth.

a must have i think :)

  

french toast topped with fresh strawberries and caramelized bananas.

perfect breakfast combo.

  

the classic club sandwich on sourdough bread.

mess this up and you should stop your business haha.

gigantic sandwich. fresh ingredients. it was good.
