girls night in
had dinner with a wonderful friend last night.
we decided to have "grown up mac and cheese"
to my surprise it was very good.
dont really think the pictures do justice but it was taken with my phone...
(left my camera at home -____-)
a bit on the heavy side but if you have a side of salad with it its perfect.

now for dessert, we decided to have an apple crumble with vanilla ice cream.
this was very delicious.
almost like an apple pie but a crumble top rather than a crust.
yumm!!
i will definitely be making this again :)

-2 pbs apples
-1/2 cup granulated sugar
-1/4 cup all purpose flour
-1 tspn cinnamon
preheat oven to 350F
peel and cut 2 lbs of apples into small bite size cubes.
mix with sugar, flour, cinnamon and place into baking dish.
-1 cup all purpose flour
-1/3 cup granulated sugar
-1/4 cup light brown sugar
-1/2 tspn kosher salt
-1/4 tspn ground cinnamon
1/4 pound (1 stick) cold unsalted butter, diced
mix ingredients all together with a mixer until butter is into small pieces.
(i just used my hands i thought it was easier)
make crumbles with your hands
place crumbles on top of the apple mixture
bake for 45 mins
enjoy with a nice scoop with ice cream ^^
